God never intended us to be alone, so he created friendship. The biblical characteristics of friendship were designed to provide us with encouragement, joy, and connection. Through the loyalty, honesty, and love of godly friendships, we can grow and be built up in our faith. Here are 37 scriptures that reveal how to build God-honoring relationships.

And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Scripture tells us that we can accomplish more together than alone. Independence is not preferable to community.
