- Zschech does a remarkable job of helping the reader experience God through worship! by Leslie on 12/14/2015
Zschech’s format and writing style bring both the heart and hands of worship alive for the reader. The book is broken down into two sections. The first section, The Heart of Worship, trains the reader to cultivate a worshipful heart by focusing on characteristics of God such as His worthiness, omnipresence, and lovingkindness. Because of who God is, our worship can flow out of gratitude.
In the second section, The Hands of Worship, Zschech walks the reader through the way worship is played out in every facet of life from our words, to our service, to our suffering, to our money, to our corporate and private worship, and to our marriage and children, just to name a few.
Zschech loads her book with Scripture, the ultimate source of authority and brings it to life with personal stories, which ring with authenticity.
The most applicable part of the book to my own life came from Zschech’s chapter called “In His Sanctuary” where she explains how to prepare ourselves for corporate worship. My biggest takeaway centers on actively preparing my heart each Sunday to enter God’s sanctuary with peace, anticipation, God’s Word, prayer, love and unity, and thanksgiving (pp. 216-217).
What I like: Zschech’s use of Scripture (primary) and personal narrative (secondary). I also love the section and chapter format. It’s easy for the reader to find the parts of greatest interest.
What I dislike: Nothing. It’s a fabulous book!

- I would read this book again along with others by this author by Pamla on 12/9/2015
Worship changes everything! How true. I got this book just as I had been asking the Lord to help me draw closer to Him. To help me to seek HIM, spending time in HIS presence.
This book has helped me to define what I can do for God, starting just where I am, I don’t have to make things complicated. You will learn to have a greater heart for God and live a worshipful life, watching to say what the Lord would have you say. Your self-worth will be boosted as you begin to live a life of worship and see yourself as our Loving Father sees us.
This is not just a book for people who stand in front of crowds or church and sing this is a book for every person in whatever their personal walk is. You can worship God in your job, your marriage, by cherishing your children, in times of desolation and in private. Worship of our Creator is where ever we are in whatever we do, it is not just standing in front of church and singing a few songs. Worship is a relationship!
I received a free copy from Bethany House for review.

Worship Changes Everything
Experiencing God’s Presence In Every Moment of Life
I love book covers because a lot of times I will sit and look at the cover while it tells me it’s own story about the book that I am about to read. Try it is amazing what a cover can tell you without words, if you have a good imagination (which I do). The beautiful, smiling face on this cover tells me she is at peace with whom she is and that she knows the secret of happiness that I found out not long ago is only found in Jesus no one else can truly make you happy even though that is what a lot of people think.
The title of this book is so true worshipping the Lord does change you inside out. God gives you a peace beyond all understanding.
We all have heard people tear us down and say we are not good enough or smart enough, or pretty enough so on. But that’s not true. We were all made unique by a God that loved us with all his heart that he gave his most precious gift His son to take on our sins, would anyone else do that? In this book I found the words of Victoria Osteen:
We should all know that we are very important because God says we are important. The value God places on you is permanent. Nothing you can do. Nothing anyone else can do, will ever be able to change that.
To that I say Amen—it is true and we are blessed.
As you go on a journey through this beautiful book you will truly learn more of the way you worship will change everything about you. You will see your life change why wouldn’t you want to be around people that uplift you, support you and worship a glorious God you worship? Heaven is a place of peace, no sickness, no tears, happy and a place of love and Life.
Have a great journey!!!
I received this book free from Bethany House for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review just an honest one. The opinions I have expressed are entirely mine and no one else’s
