Whatever the Cost tells the story of twin brothers David and Jason Benham, from their formative years and ventures into professional baseball to their rise as owners of a multi-million dollar business empire and securing an HGTV reality series.

It’s a journey where the brothers learned how they must die to their dreams not just once, but twice as they walked away from baseball before being called up to the Big Show and later as their TV series was stripped away from them just before airing when the network succumbed to media pressures surrounding their faith.

These experiences only helped them realize that the key to powerful living is found when you die to your dreams and face your fears, and choose to live powerfully through it all. The biblical principles they implemented to guide their work and families are revealed in practical terms to apply to our daily lives and give us courage to stand for what is right.

Whatever the Cost
WHATEVER THE COST
By:
David and Jason Benham
Foreword by: Tony Evans

As young boys they were the average young boys into everything, being stinkers and getting into trouble. Trouble must have been their middle name. Their father wasn't the best sitter, because they got in more trouble when he watched them then any other time it sounded like. Like for instance they were outside Dad was watching them and they picked up a concert drainage cover and oh yes they dropped it on Jason's toe so check out the left toe if Jason is wearing sandals.
To tell the boys apart one wore blue the other wore a different color other then blue. Not sure if that meant the one only had blue and nothing else :-)

David and Jason played professional baseball but suffering from many injuries that ended their careers. They lost more then the dream of professional baseball how about real estate, then there was the TV show, but the TV show was afraid to air them because their religious views. They became two high driven faith filled brothers that wanted more then anything to expand God's Kingdom at all cost. The one thing they never lost was their faith in God, they stayed stead fast through everything they lost along the way.

David and Jason were convinced with every dream that died, with God they faced fear and they lived powerfully in the faith they had. their faith grew stronger with each failure because they felt God even used failures for their next step in faith.

I loved this that they said "God is not going to give you what's in His hand until you let go of what's in yours. The issue isn't, what's in God's hand? The issue is, do you trust God enough to let go of what's in yours?
Or how about "Freedom is not ability to get what you want, bit it's the ability to give what you have. when you do that, you are truly free,"
Now that is some things to think about.

I received this beautiful book from booklook blogers free for an honest review. I was not required to give a positive review just an honest one. The opinions I have expressed are entirely my own and no one else's.
