The Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club is a short film with a heart. A young waitress comes to know and love the trio of grumpy old men who come every Wednesday for breakfast. Look at any small diner, corner restaurant, or even the local McDonalds, and you will see groups of old guys meeting for coffee and talk. Young screenwriter (and actress in the movie) Amanda Barber reminds that these elders have worthwhile stories to share and deserve our respect and care. I hope that Amanda Barber and her brother go on to produce many more thoughtful, wholesome movies.
