- A Classic by Rebecca C on 1/21/2015
The CD has many familiar songs and is a great CD to listen to at home or in the car. I enjoyed listening to the CD and hearing some familiar old songs. My favorite is Look For Me.
I received a copy of this CD from the Family Christian for review purposes. I was not compensated for this review, nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
- An Enjoyable Classic! by Charity on 12/18/2014
Do any of you remember listening to the Happy Goodman family group from way back? I wasn't around when they were singing obviously, but I have heard their music and listened to their songs for a bit now. I enjoy some good rousing southern Gospel music that makes you think of the old days. That is exactly what this new cd here does. I felt like I was listening to an old timey radio station:)
The trio is a new one but comprised of familiar faces. I found myself humming along to the songs and even singing with a few that I recognized. Some are toe tapping tunes while others are relaxing and comforting. I hadn't expected to enjoy the CD as much as I did as I prefer some of the newer groups I am familiar with. I was pleasantly surprised though and played the CD more than once on my trip:) It is definitely a trip down memory lane as you listen to the lyrics and harmony found on this album. I would urge you to pick this up in your local book store when it comes out in January!
