- Really more of a 3.5 stars by daws1996 on 12/21/2011
The basic storyline was good and the characters were likable. Her handling of the "bad guy" was a bit different from the norm and the details of post WW2 she wove into the story were great. Overall, I enjoyed the novel. My only hesitation in four stars is that while the story was good, I wasn't completely drawn into it -- I could easily put it down and walk away to do other things. I never minded picking it back up again, but it was never a rush to get chores done and get back to the story.
