Good movie!! - Taniere (florence, KY) - 4/21/2009
I thought that this movie was going to be horrible, since I did not enjoy "Facing the Giants", but I pleasantly surprised. Flywheel was a very funny and touching movie!!! I like it a lot! It's an overall family movie!!! Good plot, good story!! I say Buy It!

This movie was well worth the money. It was wonderful to see God in action in a family. Family dynamics, job integrity, everything. It was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Great movie.... starts amateurish BUT the story line is well worth the watch!
I love the Kendrick Brothers, they are making fantastic movies, and hey, they may just change the world!
Definitely reccommend this movie.

Flywheel - 2/7/2009
Flywheel is the first movie that had me on my knees in prayer for forgiveness. It wasn't just something that I 'wanted' to do, I felt I 'had' to ask for forgiveness.

The Kendrick brothers movies keep getting better. Flywheel was good. Facing the Giants was great. Fireproof was awesome. What's next?

The film starts in a bit amateurish way which might be both a little annoying and greatly misleading for the viewer because after a disappointing beginning the story unfolds into a beautiful and gripping theme of love, grace and a change of heart. I cried and so did my daughter. Though not as brilliant as "Facing the Giants", this movie is inspiring, moving and absolutely worth watching!

I really like this movie.
You might come away saying that things like that never happen. If so, you really missed the point of the movie. Faith in God.
This is a wonderful family movie. I hope it encourages you to put your trust in the Lord.

Flywheel director's cut - was AWESOME - cynthia (sterling, VA) - 11/19/2008
My 11 year old daughter and I thoroughly LOVE this movie.
We found it very funny - we also loved the message.

I listed to the talk over part - one of the bonus features where the brother's discussed the different scenes - i found this helpful - esp when it reminds that wives can't be their husband's Holy Spirit -

But i absolutely recommend this movie - and I brought a copy for the men's ministry at my church - - Cynthia

Wonderful Family Movie! - 10/17/2008
I am so happy to find movies that my entire family can watch together - that we ENJOY, that teach a good message, and that I don't have to wonder if my children understood the understated off color humor, or shield their eyes from scenes that they shouldn't see, or worry about them repeating the words that they hear, etc, etc, etc. This movie was GOOD. I watched it with my family, they all enjoyed it, and so we purchased it!

I have watched all 3 movies that have come out of Sherwood now, and I can honestly say, I like FLywheel the best! And it is the only one that was free to watch, as I checked it out from my church library. The others I saw in the theatre. FLywheel is not as sophisticated at the other 2 and music not near as exciting, but the story line is better.

Less Emotional - Dewitt (Winter Park, FL) - 9/3/2008
This run had fewer intense emotional scenes than Facing the Giants. But it still carried enough impact to be a worthwhile film. I could see the actors actually mature as the film continued until they were just as professional as the real thing. Overall, a good experience.
