I wasn't really sure what to expect when I ordered this bible, I just saw that it was NIV and had some notes in it...but I've learned that it is AWESOME!! It has maps, indexes (yes, plural), a concordance, a dictionary, answers to the questions you have always wanted to have answered, and reading plans so you can read the entire bible or just know the more significant portions. I def. recommend this bible. The only drawback would be that the pages are so thin I think that they will rip when I turn them. Nonetheless, It is still a great bible.
