The Chop Chop: From Milk to Meat is both an invitation and an exhortation from Christian hip hop pioneer The Ambassador to rally up with those who are hungry for truth and determined to mature. The Chop Chop occurs when we take the meat of God’s word, break it down, and share it to impact the world as messengers and models of transforming truth. The title track, The Chop Chop, is a hip hop banger that challenges believers to grow and develop by gathering with other believers and “chopping up” the scriptures to integrate biblical nutrition into our system. Dramatic horns sound The Ambassador’s bleeding heart in Anybody Hear Me? – a sobering track that exposes the problems of a culture no longer drawn to the rapper’s words and message, but rather the seductiveness of his swagger. The Chop Chop features guest appearances by Lecrae, Trip Lee and Da’ T.R.U.T.H. as well as production by J.R., Official, Tony Stone and Mac the doulos.
