There is no doubt that the Holy Spirit was directing me to it because it kind of just fell in my lap one day. I have struggled with negativity, anger and bitterness for ever since I can remember. I was a Christian without joy. I WAS Mary! This book has taught me whats going on and how to make a change that will set me free. I was in a state of confusion in 2008 and I couldn't seem to determine what God was trying to tell me versus what Satan was trying to convince me. I know that I must find quiet time and seek God's answer and pray that I will hear his voice. Then I make sure it is agrees with the Bible and others faithful believers. Too many Christians are in a state of confusion because of the condition of the world today. We allow our minds to dwell on the evil in the world and too often don't take time to meditate on the wonderful promises of our Savior. There is something in this book for everyone no matter what situation they happen to be facing. It is a reminder that our mind is always at work and it focuses what God tells us through the scripture to win this battle against Satan. I particularly like the way Joyce describes the weaknesses in her life which God has led her through and also she acknowledges that she is still learning.
