I have been doing that ever since and in that short period of time I have gotten through, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and most of Acts! I am Amazed and Captivated! I can't wait to get in the car and listen to more. My Wife and I would try to read the Bible together but we would not get far. Reading somewhat monotone just does not have the efect that you get from this Incredible CD set. I am Half Way through the New Testament Set and I am looking forward to starting the Old Testament, hopefully by the end of next week! The amazing thing is that the boys look forward to this new routine and ask about the Bible every night. That in itself gives this audio Bible 5 stars. It is a dynamic presentation which we have benefited from. The Bible should be read with emotion and power, and these actors and actresses accomplish that. They help bring the Bible alive for us. It is so easy just to read the bible without thinking about the real people in the story, but while listening to these people act out the events, you can't help but wonder who it must have been to be there.
