Through A Season Of GriefBill Dunn,Kathy LeonardFinding the right words to communicate sympathy to a friend who is grieving is one of the most difficult tasks we face. What do you give when a card or a casserole isn't enough? Deep loss-that of a spouse, parent, child, or close friend-is addressed in a number of books. But Through A Season Of Grief, a GriefShare devotional, is devoted to those who are mourning a loss. Grieving is a process that is managed over time. As a gift, this 365-day devotional, the first of its kind, ministers beyond the initial loss and into the coming year of bereavement. Full of biblical comfort and psychologically sound advice, the book features insights from well-known and respected Christian leaders such as Kay Arthur, Larry Crabb, and Jack Hayford. Customer ReviewsWrite your own review of this item.Average Rating: I purchased this book for a good friend of mine who recently lost her baby to cord complications; stillborn. I was hoping that there were places to journal in the book but there weren't, and the topics were all over the place. Pages on death of a family member, friend, spouse, etc. but not much on losing a child prior to birth. Overall I guess this would be a good gift for someone who has lost a loved one, but not for someone in my friend's situation. 70 out of 135 visitors found this review helpful.
