- This was quite an inspiring read... by Melanie on 7/18/2016
This story felt a little personal to me. As someone who battles a gastrointestinal autoimmune disease, I could relate to this story in some aspects. The little girl is so brave as is her mother who never leaves her side and is her champion for her healthcare to get answers and the best care. When a terrifying accident cures the little girl of her previously incurable disease, things get very interesting for the Beam family. This story is inspiring, heartfelt, and heartwarming.
