Bestselling author Stephanie Grace Whitson's latest historical novel features an adventurous young heroine who joins the Pony Express.

When orphaned Annie Paxton and her brothers strike out on their own, they see an ad for the Pony Express that seems to answer their prayers: "Wanted," it reads, "Young, skinny fellows not over eighteen. Must be expert riders and willing to risk death daily. Orphans preferred."

Without hesitation, Annie becomes a cook at the Pony Express station, and the boys become Express messengers. Annie soon attracts the interest of two men, and is both flattered and baffled by their attention. One is a refined, dashing officer. The other, a rugged stagecoach driver.

When a routine Express mission goes awry, Annie must intervene. Racing on a moonlit adventure, she'll have to learn how to trust her instincts and follow her heart, even if she's conflicted about which way it's leading her.

This is one spunky, touching, tenderhearted, yet lighthearted, Spiritual and yet it is down to earth. I, honestly, felt a little honored being chosen to read this novel, yes I call it a novel because it has earned my respect enough for me to call it a novel. It is a story of sacred trust and fatherly love being broken and how.To gain it back through a GODLY FATHER love and trust. This also throws in some history that you say Oh Yeh now this is how history should be taught. The story was oh so genuine. I kept wishing that I had two brothers like that. My heart was going through so many emotions and HELLO EVERYBODY you are suppose to because that is the sign of a good author on that can make you feel and one that can make you run the whole gambit of emotions. This is a love story, a pony express story, a come to JESUS which is THE most important thing in the book. Annie and her two brothers get involved with the pony express, her as someone who works at their cafe. and her two brothers Emmet, the peacemaker and Frank, the scrapper and no I do not mean scrapbooking scrapper. LT. and George vie for Annie and you will not believe what happens. They meet her at the cafe. What will happen to George? What happens to the Ltd.? What happens to her brothers? Do her brothers and Annie ever find JESUS? Do they realize HE never left that HE was always there? Will Annie find out there is something beyond The LORD is my ShephRd? Will the family find peace, Love and happiness? You must Get This Book it is Worth Every Penney. I received this copy to read and give an honest review.
