- A Refreshing Way to Examine Your Life by softballchik24 on 3/14/2016
As usual at the beginning of a new year, everyone wants to better themselves in the coming year. This is usually seen with diet, exercise or quitting a vice. And usually it does not work out well.
This book by Ms. Pulliam is a good book if you want to re-invent yourself or change those habits that you just can't seem to get over. How? Well, this is an easy to read book first with lots of help and insights from scripture. Those bible versus fit perfectly with the days work and really help to motivate and engage you while you work through the book. Second, there are daily questions and actionable items that build on each other. You don't have to spend hours a day to get the most from this book and really help get your life on track to where you want it to be.
I personally completed the 21 days and some days were quick and some were a little bit longer but having the book to write my thoughts/feeling and notes to myself in while I completed the course was very helpful. This book made me think a lot about my life and what I wanted and has put me on the right track to a full turn around of the bad habits in my life. They say it takes 3 weeks (21 days) to change a habit and having a daily reminder to go to does help stick out for those 21 days. Anyone looking to better themselves to change something about their life would benefit from this book.
I received this book complimentary for my honest and unbiased review and all opinions expressed are my own.
