Katie Davis left over Christmas break of her senior year for a short mission trip to Uganda and her life was turned completely inside out. She found herself so moved by the people of Uganda and the needs she saw that she knew her calling was to return and care for them. In this inspiring book, Katie describes her experiences of "adopting" thirteen children in Uganda and establishing a ministry that feeds and sends hundreds more to school while teaching them the Word of Jesus Christ.
Kisses from Katie: A Story of Relentless Love and Redemption takes you on a journey of radical love down the red dirt roads of Uganda. Katie and her children delight in saying yes to the people God places in front of them and in this book, they challenge readers to do the same, changing the world one person at a time.

- Grips your soul with conviction to give up all you have to tell others about Jesus...one at a time. by Steeplechaseer on 1/7/13
This young teenager carried a daily load that all of us would be hard pressed to endure. She is the modern day Mother Teresa with a heart for the poorest of the poor putting her life in danger while teaching them about the love of Jesus. It left me appalled at my own apathy for missionaries and now feel convicted and ashamed at my lack of knowledge of what they really endure on a day to day basis. Katie shines with love for others and has given up a life of wealthy upbringing to a life of poverty, filth, hunger and danger...all to her parents disappointment. This book will expose your lack of spiritual conviction of "saving just one more...for Jesus"...every.single.day.
