- HORRIBLE! by Eve on 12/26/2013
I was excited to put this video in our church library...until I watched in with my 6-year-old. It was awful. The audio was really bad, and didn't match the character mouth movements. The background noises overpowered the spoken words, which was o.k. because most of the words were mean or demeaning, including those spoken by the christian characters. There was almost nothing about creationism in the movie, and what there was didn't seem to have anything to do with the rest of the movie. It was very scary, with a scene where there are two big mean monkeys trying literally to beat a guy to death, and a lot of focus on the monkey's big hairless bottoms, even zooming in on the butt crack of one of the monkeys as it was leaning over. I watched the whole movie in shock that it was so incredibly pointless and disconnected, and that such a mean spirited and at times scary, movie seemed to be marketed toward very young kids.
