Marked By Heaven. Living Eternity on Earth.

Driven by her ruthless career ambition and Type A personality, Roxeanne Wermuth was unwittingly following the path of her abusive, perfectionist father. Yet, it was only after receiving a diagnosis of the most severe form of Multiple Sclerosis that she fell victim to deep depression and the overwhelming desire to take her own life. It was then that" one glimpse of Heaven changed everything."

Near death and in a 24-hour coma, Roxanne caught a glimpse of the outskirts of Heaven. "Under a deep blue eternity . . . flowers bloomed, colorful and vivid, beyond human description . . . "

Eternity put everything into perspective.

After losing her hair due to treatment for her illness, Roxanne--not without reservation-- tattooed the flowers of heaven onto her scalp.

"The flowers inked on my head are an expression of what God inked on my heart."
Making a radical statement to everyone she meets, Roxanne remains a walking billboard for the beauty--despite the pain--in this world and the world to come.

Whether struggling with relationships, loss, anger, depression, or chronic illness, Inked for Eternity will give you hope and inspiration to come out strong on the other side of hard times and help you rewrite your future.

This inspirational story will have you living in the light of God's presence, realizing that afflictions are temporary and what is unseen is eternal.

“The big lesson I’ve learned on daily living is this: Seek out possibilities in your day. Even though you may face adversity, decide right then what you’ll do about it. Choose with hope and faith to be positive. If you’ve done wrong, repent and be forgiven. Remember that God has promised to work for good in the lives of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Don’t squander your time like I did after being diagnosed. My year-long pity party was a waste. Great possibilities await every one of us. To do nothing positive with our lives is a big waste of our earthly time. Because God gave us the gift of life and each day to live it, wouldn’t He be disappointed if we threw it away? Grab on to something you can hope in, and fight with all you’re might. And if you die in the process, you’ll get an upgrade to heaven! How bad can that be?” pg 128.

Seek our possibilities in your day—even if your days are filled with a recent diagnosis of chronic progressive multiple sclerosis.

This book is about living. It is about accepting the path that God has given to us. It is about living life to your fullest.

As a child, Ms. Roxanne Wermuth was not raised in the most warm, loving home. Because she learned of abuse in her childhood home, she carried abuse with her into her adult life. Until she was diagnosed with chronic progressive multiple sclerosis. Can God work to change any of us? Yes He can and Ms. Wermuth is testimony of that.

As you will see when you read this book, Ms. Wermuth was alive and living life, but she did not really start living life until after she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Some may look at this as a death sentence, but Roxanne has been able to see it as a life sentence. A life on this earth and then an eternal life in heaven.

Part way through this book, we learn of Ms. Wermuth’s dying and coming back to live and to tell us her story. This is a wonderful story. It is more than why one woman got a giant tattoo on her head. It is about accepting life, accepting who you are and about living life to the fullest—no matter what you have been dealt. This was a fantastic read and I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great true story.

This author's story is a difficult one. Her abuse as a youngster affected the greater part of her life, until spiritual healing began. A poignant life story in every way, my heart broke for the author as one difficulty led to another as her life progressed. Her relationship with God became her stronghold as she overcame many obstacles that would break someone without her personal and spiritual strength.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who has struggled with abuse, power control and chronic illness. This book is a learning tool for everyone as the author's story is a powerful testimony of living through adversity.
