- Excellent story that is sure to cause vivid debates. by movieman on 10/18/2014
This story is a excellent example of do or do you not believe in the damnation of the unsaved that will stir up much debate. Personally I loved the story and I tend to agree with Mr. Fudge as my own father was not saved but I do not believe he is burning in hell today 20 years after his death.
- Controversial ending on conclusions about Hell, but otherwise well written storyline. by Love2EncourageYou on 8/14/2014
Hell and Mr. Fudge from an artistic perspective is well written, heart warming and unique. However, throughout the film the director is building up the audience's desire to feel sorry for the lead character and support him - leading up to an unusual conclusion in the end. The bulk of the movie shares his knowledge of the Bible and devotion to research, but his main points were about Unity in the church instead of about Hell. We agree with the Unity points, so we felt the movie was going fine. Surprisingly though, at the end of the movie they finally wrap up his research about Hell and it is a very controversial conclusion that I do not agree with.
