- Great Bible! by Monzello on 4/14/2014
This is probably the best Bible I came across. I love this Bible because I can rightly divide the word of truth. I would recommend this Bible to anyone. It has grammatical codes, a Hebrew and Greek dictionary, wide margins, a concordance, and study notes. This Bible is very complex as far as help notes. It has everything a teacher/preacher need and would definitely recommend this Bible to any pastor. It's a must have!
- A real help to beginners to Biblical Greek & Hebrew by Badger31164 on 6/16/2013
I bought this a few years ago to give to my cousin, a Baptist layman whose church only recognizes the KJV Bible as the true word of God. He doesn't use it himself, preferring Thompson, but he passes it around to other members of his congregation. It has had plenty of use in that way.
Since 1990, I have been using the (1977) NASB version of this Key Word Study Bible as my daily reader & also for Bible study classes. I have worn out one hardbound copy & have had another, bonded leather one since 2007 (also a 1977).
I read many Bible versions regularly (KJV NIV 1984, NRSV, HCSB, NKJV, GNB, Message, NET) but the NASB key word Bible is my "standard" for accuracy, still after getting on for a quarter century. The Strong's numbers & dictionaries are a huge bonus for me, especially in the days when I didn't have Bible study programs on my computer.
To me, the NASB Key Word Bible seems more comprehensive in its notes & introductions than the KJV one. The key word feature is the same, of course.
Zodhiates can come up with some far-fetched exegeses sometimes but over the years, he has taught me plenty.
Sorry to be so long-winded! Summary: If you must have a KJV Bible to the exclusion of all others, consider this one. Otherwise try one of Zodhiates' other Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bibles.
