Great series for your young explorer by Julia on 5/31/2014

Zondervan provided me with a copy of this series in exchange for an honest review

The Let’s Go Explore series was written by Kim Washburn. It is a paperback picture book series that highlights the biblical significance and history of these four cities: Israel, Egypt, Jerusalem, and Galilee. The full color pages are very inviting and will draw your 6–9 year old child into the books.
The stories feature:
places to go,
sights to see,
culture to experience,
curiosities to consider
words to work on and so on.

Each book is an adventure in each country that includes beautiful pictures, history, facts or info into the cultures of the people of each country, photographs, maps, vocabulary, and call outs. What a great addition to any study of these countries or can be used as stand alone reading books.

About the Author: Kim Washburn has been writing children’s books for more than a decade. She was recognized by Evangelical Press Association, including first place for a fiction category. Her nonfiction books for young readers has reached a wide audience.
