- Interactive and Fun Bible Story for Kids by Amanda on 2/22/2013
Recently my daughter and I read this new book called the David Sticker Book written by Karen Williamson and Illustrated by Amanda Enright. This sticker book was so fun! While reading the stories the children are able to put in stickers to fill in the missing pictures on the page. Stickers are always a big hit with kids, and it helps keep them involved in the story. The book begins with the story of Samuel traveling to Jesse's house to choose a new king that would eventually replace King Saul. The book also covers: the story of Goliath, David playing the harp for Saul, Saul chasing after David and ends with David finally becoming king. This book is for children ages 3 and older.
I think the author did a great job re-telling the story on a child's level of understanding. The illustrations are adorable and fun to look at. My daughter is 4 years old and had a great time reading and putting the stickers in the book. The book includes 4 pages of stickers! If you're looking for a gift for a child and want something that would be encouraging spiritually and fun, then be sure to pick up the David Sticker Book. I would definitely recommend this book.

- Fun while learning Bible truths by Vera on 2/18/2013
This is a nice little Bible story book that gives a good accounting of the story of David from his anointing by Samuel to his becoming King of Israel. The text is comprised of short sentences that would be easily understood by the age child to which the book is directed.
The stickers (4 pages!) enhance the child's experience in learning and enjoying this Bible story. I recommend the book and know that children will enjoy putting all the stickers in place from the tiny ladybug sticker to big bad Goliath or the crown for David. At $5.99 parents and other adults will find this a good investment in a child.
Disclosure: I was provided a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review from Kregel Publications.
- Children's Bible Sticker Book by Maureen on 2/18/2013
I shared this brightly colored book with my 5 year old Grandson. He was delighted, as we read the story of David, he would look and place the beautiful stickers to match the pages.
He seem enthralled with the story, and couldn't wait to turn the page.
He loved that David killed the Giant, and then went on to become the greatest King of Israel.
I recommend this as a wonderful learning activity.

- NOT JUST ANOTHER STICKER BOOK! by NARITA on 2/15/2013
There are many children’s sticker books out there, but this one had several features that definitely made it top of the line.
This one is not made like your average flimsy toy sticker book. It has a quality paperback cover and paper just like a good children’s book would have. I liked this because once the child is done doing the sticker activity it can be placed in the bookcase and read over and over. It will be special to the child because they helped “make” it. I also was impressed with the number of stickers. There were LOTS of them. This makes for more time having fun with it. I was surprised because they were on heavy paper too. When you pulled corner to remove them, they didn’t tear easily like a lot of other stickers.
The illustrations were engaging and colorful and the story was written in a way a child could understand it. Each page had about four lines; just enough to tell the Bible story and keep a young child’s attention. With the child participating in the story by applying the stickers, I believe they will retain and learn more about what is being read.
This would be a great children’s gift or for a Sunday school teacher to provide one for each student and use it as a lesson. A quality book!
