Roger Maslin was born and raised on a small farm in the Appalachian area of Pennsylvania. He was converted to Christ in the home, and soon was baptized in the Chemung River and joined the closest Baptist Church. He studied agriculture for four years in High School until his conversion to Christ and his call to preach. He then pursued studying for the ministry at the nearest Bible College.
