Dominic V. Monti
Dominic V. Monti, O.F.M., Ph.D. met the Franciscans as a student at St. Bonaventure University; he entered the Franciscan Order in 1964 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1971. He has taught church history at the Washington Theological Union and St. Bonaventure University and Franciscan history at the Franciscan Institute there. His academic research focuses on Christianity in the Middle Ages, especially the history and theology of the Franciscan movement. He is vicar provincial of the Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province.
