Ann Silver is a cop's cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region's most trusted investigative positions.

Paul Falcon is the FBI's top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder.

Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn't expecting to meet someone - that kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger - but Ann Silver has his attention.

The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realizes her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former Vice President. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realize just who this lady he is falling in love with really is...

Note from the Author:

Dear Reader:

With Full Disclosure I wanted to write an intricate mystery and a solid love story. Ann Silver and Paul Falcon fascinate me. He wants to get married and is looking for the right lady. She’s content being single, and hasn’t been thinking about marriage. And I wanted to portray the job that a cop’s life really is - the cases keep coming to be solved and if you’re going to have a private life outside of work, you’d best learn to create time for it and nurture it. They were going to make the perfect couple, but I wondered when the story began how it would happen. I got the love story I hoped for, and something deeper, something more.

Choppy by Smiling Sally on 10/8/2012

I found this book hard to get into at first, but I pressed on. Perhaps part of the problem is that I received an ARC copy rather than a finished product. It seemed a bit choppy.

Both of the lead characters, Paul Falcon and Ann Silver are rather flat without flaws. They are sharp problem solvers at the top of their fields. Everyone admires them. When characters are too perfect, it is difficult for readers to connect.

Paul and Ann's romance moves slowly and is told with Skyte-type internet visits. For instance, most evenings, Paul connects to Ann as she writes her book. After greeting each other, to avoid interrupting her work, he just watches his monitor--for hours at a time. One evening, he watches as she naps on the couch! That smacks of stalking, I think! Somehow Ann is not turned off by his observing. I feel that the plot unnecessarily drags during these times.

Both Paul and Ann are Christian, but only once is grace offered before a meal. They don't seem to attend church. However, they both think about and/or talk to God on a daily basis. There is one serious discussion about their future together, and it is during this conversation that their faith shines. It's interesting to see how well they work on compromises.

The solution to the murder-puzzle will surprise most readers. Fans of Dee Henderson will also enjoy reading a bit about the O'Malleys, characters from earlier Henderson novels.

Thank you to Bonnie at Christian Fiction Blog Alliance and Bethany House Publishers for my copy.

Like water to a thirsty land by Innkeeper Gwenn on 8/28/2012

Full Disclosure finally ends the drought of Dee Henderson books! Remaining true to the O'Malley style, this book introduces strong new characters interwoven with the characters Henderson fans have grown to love. Definitely a page-turner, it very neatly minimizes the lengthy gap between O'Malley books as it skillfully introduces a talented yet troubled Midwest Hostage Investigator and an FBI standout. A welcome reminder of the author's God-given skill and talent, Full Disclosure does not disappoint. I am thankful for the opportunity to obtain an Advance Reader Copy for review from Bethany and am about to begin re-reading it. Welcome back, Dee – we've been waiting for you!

Finally.... by Andrea on 8/13/2012

I just finished Full Disclosure. It has been a long wait for Dee's new book. It does not disappoint. I read it slowly. It is definitely a book that takes your full attention. I also read in small parts so I can digest what I was reading. If you like suspense, books that make you think and keeps you guessing, this is the book for you!

The thing I enjoyed the most was references to Dee's other characters and books. I don't know if I've ever seen it handled quite like that.

Definitely a good read!

I received this Advanced Readers Copy from Bethany House in exchange for my review. Thank you Bethany!!

ARC Reader Review by Kacie on 8/5/2012

I LOVE Dee Henderson. It can't really be said any other way. I'm pretty sure I've read just about everything she's published and was very excited to see she had a new book after several years. Full Disclosure comes out on October 2 this year and I was stoked to get an advanced copy to review.

Ann Silver is the Midwest Homicide Investigator and travels all across the country helping law enforcement agencies solve murders. She has also made some powerful friends along the way. What originally seems to be a routine car accident in the town where she is acting as temporary sheriff turns out to be anything but and leads her to the office of Paul Falcon, the FBI's top murder cop. With Ann's help one of Paul's biggest cases is about to bust wide open. Even with his hands full working the female murder-for-hire case, Paul can't help but be interested in Ann and have a deep desire to get to know her better. But Ann has secrets. Big secrets. Can the two work everything out in both their professional and personal lives?

Full Disclosure is different from many of Dee Henderson's books in that it's not quite as action packed. Because of this it took me a bit to get into the story, but once I did I was hooked. I think if you go into it expecting that then you'll love it from the very first page. If you've read Dee's other books you'll recognize many of the characters from her series, The O'Malley's and Uncommon Heroes, but in a way that you don't expect. I wish I still had all my other books so I could re-read them but they're in a good home with a friend now. Paul and Ann were great characters, and you really couldn't help but root for them. The plot just kept twisting until the very end. It was a great read, and I can't help but hope for more books from Dee Henderson.

A special thanks to Bethany House for my ARC copy. All the opinions posted are my very own.

Long awaited book by Andie on 7/31/2012

Reader review:

First up let me say two things, and then I’ll give my review. 1~ this book was provided for free by Bethany books (Full Disclosure Facebook Page) as a review copy 2~ I am a huge fan of Dee Henderson, so I would have purchased this book, and written a review soon after, but I’m super pumped to be one of the few to get it early!!!!

Ok, on to the actual review.

Ann is the Midwest Homicide Investigator, and a very private gal with friends all over the country. She is smart, witty, and travels a lot as part of her job, and just for the joy of traveling. Ann is also a cop for a small town. She uncovers a bit of information that she feels will help the FBI capture a killer. Paul is an FBI agent who is working several cases, including the investigation of a “Lady Shooter”. When Ann shows up in Paul’s office to drop off vital information to help his investigation out, he can’t wait to get started on the case, or get to know Ann better.

*If you enjoyed reading Dee’s earlier books, you’ll love getting a glimpse of many of her previous main characters. It was fun to see many of them again!
*In typical Dee style, Full Disclosure is full of detail and emotion!! Because the book is so full of details, and Dee does a great job of setting details for the future, I, personally had trouble a few times following, nothing huge, but I did need to read a few paragraphs over to make sure I understood it before I could continue. (I also read really fast, so sometimes I skip a word or two, and with a Dee Henderson book, that just doesn’t work, because she make every word count!!)
*The ending was a huge surprise to me (I actually said “NO!!!” closed the book, and buried my head, before picking the book back up to finish it ~oh, and needing to explain to my husband why in the world I was talking to my book was kinda funny too ;) ).

I would give Full Disclosure a 5 out of 5!!

On Par with the O'Malley series! by BCom on 7/30/2012

If you have loved Dee Henderson's books, Full Disclosure will be easily enjoyed as well! Ann Silver and the FBI's Paul Falcon are a complex pair of charactors. Their story is masterly interwoven with the suspense unfolding from the case Ann brings to pass off to Paul at the begining of the story. An unexpected series of events and cases bring the two of them through ups and downs both individually and together. Overall I would recommend reading this book, expecially if you are a fan of Dee Henderson's O'Malley series.
