- Every story points to the Story by Sofia Marie of Teens Live for Jesus on 12/20/2016
"The Jesus Storybook Bible" is a children’s Bible, but I think we, teens, and adults for that matter can gather a lot from it.
The thing I really like about this Bible is that, as is said on the cover, “every story whispers his name." From Adam and Eve to the tower of Babel to Jacob’s wife Leah to Naaman’s leprosy the stories always point to the Story, the plan that God had from the beginning. Sometimes it’s easy to get lost in the Old Testament and not see the big picture. But if we look closer every story can “whisper his name”.
- BEST Children's Bible EVER! by Neurotyper on 9/2/2012
I LOVE The Jesus Storybook Bible! I teach in an afterschool Bible club in the public school system (Discovery Clubs) and we use this book with 2nd-5th graders as part of the curriculum. It is awesome! They sit spellbound while I read to them. The message is so wonderful and the children really learn about how the Bible stories that they may have heard many times before all point towards Jesus and his marvelous rescue plan. I have cried several times when reading the stories to them, as the writing just touches my heart.
