This book has changed my life, how I see my life, how I recognize a multitude of gifts I used to skim over...unseeing. My joy has multiplied to overflowing. I stumbled across the author's blog a couple years ago, liked it, re-visited it often. I thought I already knew what the book was about; finally bought it a year ago. I just finished it. It took me months to get through the first chapter. Each chapter after that, shows a path to growing closer, ever closer to His presence and the unbridled joy that is constantly available to us.

This was an excellent, beautifully written book. This book was life-changing for me. I have so many pages that have folded down corners, filled with scriptures and tidbits of truth. She speaks with honesty and openness. Living a life of thanksgiving to God has truly made a difference. I cannot wait to read it again and highly recommend it to anyone!

This book will hit you hard in the deep places of your heart. It will draw out the ugliness of complaining in a way you do not even realize. It is like a spoonful of sugar with medicine. Ann draws a picture of a heart connecting with her Father and seeing His love at work in everything.

Ann writes in transparency and honesty, sharing her difficulties and triumphs. Sometimes, I could only read a few pages at a time, there was so much "meat" to digest, healing to assimilate. Truly an anointed book for those wanting a deeper walk with the living Christ.

This book is annointed by the Lord. It truly caused my husband and I to pause and think, and then to start counting the gifts. We read it as a devotional, and there were days when we read only a few sentences and we had to stop, because there was so much to receive from the Holy Spirit as we read. I am on my second time through it and am receiving so much more. I bought ten copies to give away to my dearest friends. Don't pass this book up.
