Colton Burpo, the four-year-old son of a small-town Nebraska pastor, slipped from consciousness during emergency surgery and into Heaven. Upon recovery, his stories were just too remarkable to deny. From looking down on his operation and seeing his dad praying in the waiting room, to meeting family members who had already passed away (that he knew nothing about) the evidence was clear: this amazing trip really had happened!
Told by his father - but often in Colton's own words - the disarmingly simple message is this: Heaven is a real place, Jesus really loves children and be ready, because there is a last battle coming.

- Short, Simple, & to the Point by C-wag on 9/17/2013
I've never been one to buy a book without a slew of recommendations from men I trust in my church, so I was actually a little shocked when my best friend and room mate suggested this one to me. It looked to be a little too "silly" or childish for my general tastes. I was delightfully surprised, and finished the book that evening.
The story is for the most part light, giving hope to those who may feel Heaven is simply a lofty concept too difficult for the masses to truly understand. Well worth the read.
- amazing by tiffany on 6/25/2013
bought this book on a whim thinking "why not i need something to read on the plane" read this book in less than a day and cried hysterically on the plane. this book took me from reading rarely to wanting to read more books like it! i loved it!
- Wonderful book!! by Sue on 1/18/2013
After I read this book, I bought 4 other copies to share. It is a delightful story about Heaven in the eyes of a little boy, who actually visited there. Good story to share with unbelievers, non-threatening with good references to the bible truths. Love it!
- I have been there by Gen on 12/4/2012
I don't remember the colors quite as well as he does, but the rest I agree with entirely. Granted I was only two when I went and that was over 20 years ago, but it is a vivid experience that hardly any person could forget. Read the book and be convinced!
- Pick up the book, cannot put it down! Awesome little soul. by Hope on 11/11/2012
I have suggested many to read this, thru loosing a loved one to even a neighbor who broke her toe and cannot drive. She again repeated what I said, You cannot put it down until you are done reading it. Now a 4 y.o. lost his Daddy, and my friend, his Grandma, is buying the childrens version of it.
