When 20-year old Nathan Burr loses his career and his girlfriend, he questions his purpose in life. In an attempt to reclaim his direction, the former foster child sets out on a quest to find his birth mother and somehow come to terms with her rejection of him.
His journey begins in the city where he was born. Encouraged by the wisdom of the housekeeper at his hotel and with the help of a hotel guest, Nathan finds the address of his mother, Linda Dixon. Linda is now a social worker who agonizes over the decision she made 20 years ago. When Nathan finally gathers the courage to meet his mother, he uncovers a terrible secret that unexpectedly redefines what his life was Meant to Be.

Rating It is so wonderful to watch a movie that applies to all of our lives and recognizes how important life is. I am pleased that someone has taken the time to speak up for these babies. We are their only voice. My adopted daughter almost became a life unknown, and I am so thankful we were given the chance at having a daughter. I cry every time I watch this movie as I see how many babies are rejected by their mother and father. I pray many people see this movie and realize life is given by God.
