Alex, an Italian engineer, has been working in Russia for several years. At the end of his contract, he intends to go back to Italy - but he finds himself reconsidering that decision after meeting Dima, a child who is a cancer patient in a local hospital.
Dima introduces Alex to the other young patients of his ward, where Alex decides to volunteer by playing piano. Suddenly engulfed into a reality that is too often forgotten, Alex finds himself touched by these children who are in a daily fight for their life against frightening illnesses. He encourages their musical talents and inspires them to celebrate life through music.
Heartwarming and filled with love, Hopeful Notes is an inspiring tale about bringing hope to those who have none.
