I really liked this "Bible", although, I personally wouldn't call it a Bible. It is really a neat way to display the Bible in your home and remember to read it daily to your kids. This would sit nicely on a dresser or shelf in your child's room for a bedtime or maybe even a quick morning story. The stories are short and begin with Creation going all the way through the Bible ending with Paul's arrival to Rome. Each day may be a whole story or possibly a part of a longer story such as the story of Joseph which was divided up over several days.

One thing that I thought could have been added was the Scriptures for the daily readings. They were not included and would be nice if a person wanted to read more of that story or read it directly out of the Bible. There is a reading for each day of the year, numbered at the top. It has a hardback stand that folds out so it can be upright and a spiral top such as a desk calendar.
The pages are brightly illustrated with characters from each story. It is also a bit heavy, so would need to be treated with care so the pages would not tear. It is not a typical devotional as it doesn't include any personal thoughts or prayers. Overall, you or your child would be reading an excerpt from the Bible on a daily basis.

I would certainly recommend this and really liked the one I received as a complimentary copy from Kregel to review. I was not required to review it positively.

Great flip-book, 365 days of Bible stories by Vera on 11/28/2016

What a great design and presentation style for this children's 365-day Bible story book. Bible verses rephrased and explained in short format tell the story just as though you were reading "through the Bible in a year" style. The difference? It is in child-format for easy understanding and in a desk or table top style that can remain standing throughout the year.

The child can pick it up and easily flip through to re-read the stories. This is another example of the fine quality and dependable Bible story books from Candle that are authentic.

The illustrations are vivid with a sense of realism and yet have a slight modern or abstract feel to them. Children will love them. I just love Noah on the cover with the two zebras.

I can easily and heartily recommend this for your child or to gift to another during this special season.
