Rating Wow! This book took me by surprise. I have never read a memoir that had the drama, excitement and heart stirring events of Cruel Harvest. It seizes the readers attention and you can't put it down. Written as seen through the eyes of the child, Frances, it is moving and unforgetable! I did not want it to end. And what an ending! You won't be disappointed.
