  • Audio Adrenaline Head Out on Tour

Posted on August 19, 2013 by Family Christian

Audio Adrenaline is ready to get back on the road to take on the fall leg of their "Kings & Queens Tour," hitting at least 30 cities throughout the nation. These fall dates are the extended run following up to the band's successful return to the touring landscape this past spring, coming on the heels of announcing their return last September. The tour, which will also feature Disciple, Stellar Kart, and Ryan Stevenson, is in support of Audio Adrenaline’s Kings & Queens.

This fall the band will continue to convey the passionate message for their non-profit ministry, Hands & Feet Project. The Hands & Feet Project is dedicated to providing long-term, family-style care for orphaned and abandoned children in need of a home and family. Joining in to help support this mission is Food For the Hungry, a Christian organization serving the poor globally since 1971, who will sponsor the "Kings & Queens Tour."

"Food for the Hungry is thrilled to be partnering with Audio Adrenaline on the Kings and Queens Tour," shares Ben Greene, Senior Director at Food for the Hungry. "The FH staff has admired the wonderful work of Hands & Feet Project for several years and is privileged to have the opportunity to partner with all that they are accomplishing."

According to Mark Stuart, Executive Director and co-founder of Hands & Feet Project and founding Audio A member, "The relaunch of Audio Adrenaline and the message of 'Kings & Queens' has blessed the ministry of the Hands & Feet Project beyond measure. Now, with Food for the Hungry as the new Audio A tour partner, more of Haiti's needy children will be reached with the sustaining hope of Christ. We are so thankful for FH's partnership and their on-going commitment to provide help for those in need."

Although Audio Adrenaline has been appearing at various festivals throughout this summer sharing their music and ministry with thousands of fans, they are more than ready to kick off this leg of their tour, planning to deliver an exciting live show with the same heart and more energy than ever before. Concertgoers will be able to hear the band's latest singles, "Kings & Queens" and "Believer," as well as well-known previous Audio A hits.

Already more than 40 stations are playing the newest radio hit, “Believer,” which can be heard on such stations including K-LOVE, SiriusXM, ReachFM, KLJY/St. Louis, KXOJ/Tulsa, KSGN/Riverside, and WBVM/Tampa. Don’t miss the music video for "Believer" as well as the story behind the song, which can be viewed here.

  • SHINE BRIGHT BABY DEBUTS ALBUM

Posted on July 24, 2013 by Family Christian

Following the success of their single “Beautiful Love,” which hit radio in May, Shine Bright Baby’s anticipated debut project is available now in stores and online.  Dreamers, created and produced by Matt Arcaini, Mike “X” O’Conner, Tofer Brown and Pete Kipley, is the debut LP belonging to the BEC Recordings quartet and consists of an inventive mixture of pop, rock, electronic and modern worship music.

After just a few short weeks on radio, “Beautiful Love” has climbed to No. 8 on the Hot AC/CHR charts.  Recent press tout the debut including a “rock spotlight” in the current issue of CCM Magazine applauding Shine Bright Baby on “not being shy in allowing their faith to radiate boldly, all the while making apparent their musical commitment to excellence.”

Comprised of four gifted musicians, each from Orville, Ohio, Shine Bright Baby features Emily Irene on vocals, guitarist Nathan Fertig, Joshua Fink on keys, guitars and vocals, and Karl Wendel on drums.  Friends before they were bandmates, Emily and Nathan began performing in 2007 amongst the local scene in both mainstream settings and Christian circles.  Soon after, Joshua and Karl joined Emily and Nathan to complete the quartet, whose unique band name comes from Philippians 2.

“After realizing God’s plan for the band, we wanted to take what that verse said and apply it to the band’s mission and what we stood for,” shares Joshua.  “Emily wanted it to be more fun and playful, so she tacked ‘Baby’ on the end and it just stuck."

“We all come from church backgrounds, all leading worship at church at various points of life,” says Karl.  “Anytime we’re on that stage, our goal is to glorify God and worship through our instruments and voices, and hopefully in turn, help others be able to draw closer to God.”

One of the band’s personal favorites from Dreamers is “Made To Glow,” a song about letting God’s love shine in everyone’s daily actions, while the piano/acoustic ballad “Love Restores” was written in the wake of a highly publicized school shooting near the band’s hometown.  The group also shows its more aggressive side on “The Brave Ones,” a guitar-charged anthem centered on living a bold life of faith with a little help from Disciple front man Kevin Young.

Shine Bright Baby is on an extensive tour in support of Dreamers, having wrapped up the Acquire The Fire Tour and Air1’s Club Awesome Tour.  The band will also perform at numerous festivals throughout the remainder of the summer and fall.

  • SHINE BRIGHT BABY Debuts Dreamers

Posted on May 14, 2013 by Family Christian

BEC Recordings is set to release the first recording from the band Shine Bright Baby. The national debut disc from the worshipful electronic rockers, titled Dreamers, is set to release July 23.

The foursome comprising Shine Bright Baby - Emily Irene on vocals, guitarist Nathan Fertig, Joshua Fink on keys, guitars and vocals, and Karl Wendel on drums - each hail from Orrville, Ohio. Their unique band name comes from Philippians 2, which, shares Joshua, “Talks about shining brightly for the Lord, but we wanted to take what that verse said and apply it to the band’s mission and what we stood for. Emily wanted it to be more fun and playful, so she tacked ‘Baby’ on the end and it just stuck.”

None of the members of Shine Bright Baby had the lifelong mission to be part of a band, yet when local reception grew so strong that major festivals and record labels were showing interest, they had no choice but to notice God’s plan for the band. “We all come from church backgrounds, all leading worship at church at various points of life,” says Karl. “Anytime we’re on that stage, our goal is to glorify God and worship through our instruments and voices, and hopefully in turn, help others be able to draw closer to God.”

Emily and Nathan, who founded the band in 2007, started performing in the local scene in both mainstream club settings and amongst Christian circles, performing their inventive mixture of pop, rock, electronic and modern worship. During the time, most of the bands in town steered towards metal and Shine Bright Baby stood out from the pack, then adding Joshua and Karl to their lineup.

Shine Bright Baby soon found themselves headlining shows as well as opening for acts like The Classic Crime, Ivoryline and Manic Drive, then quickly graduating to playing the major festivals with very little promotion. Soon after, they signed with BEC Recordings.

“After we signed with BEC Recordings, we went into a really serious songwriting mode, coming up with 70 or 80 songs,” Emily shares. “We needed to find what we wanted and what felt right, and throughout that process, we experienced a lot of growth.” To create Dreamers, they worked with producer and songwriting collaborator Matt Arcaini, creative partners Mike “X” O’Conner and Tofer Brown, plus executive producer Pete Kipley.

The first radio single from Dreamers is the redemptive tune “Beautiful Love.” After just three weeks since hitting the radio airwaves, the song is currently at No. 21 on Hot AC/CHR.

Shine Bright Baby is on an extensive tour in support of Dreamers. They just wrapped an Acquire The Fire Tour and will soon embark on the Air1’s Club Awesome Tour, as well as numerous festival dates throughout the summer and fall.
