In 3 Day Christmas, Martin Taylor has no clue who his teenage daughter is dating, why his son only communicates through an electronic sign outside his bedroom door or why his youngest child only watches religious TV. Convinced the family needs to reconnect, Martin surprises them with a little experiment—he locks them in their own home with no power, no heat, no running water and absolutely no contact with the world outside!
This sudden bonding session isn't what the Taylors had in mind for the weekend, but they'll have to team up to prove they can survive Dad's wacky mission. With a heartfelt message and some persistence, the littlest member of the family helps put their priorities back in the pews, because they'll need all the faith they have to get through this 3 Day Christmas!

While not damaging to the soul it is lacking in Christian content. Although the concept of the movie may be enough to draw your family in get movie us a bit agonizing.

Not harmful to the soul, but lacking in Christian contents. The idea may be intriguing enough to draw you and your family in to watching it although at times the movie is a bit agonizing.
- Silly Fun by JOSIE on 9/9/2013
It's a silly fun movie for kids and families of all ages. Not much biblical reference and a bit dull at times.
- We loved it! by MomofMany on 2/13/2013
While it started a bit slowly, our whole family really enjoyed this movie. Our ages are from 3 to 36! Really, it's super and the ending is so fun! :)
- Good concept but lacked development by Bookworm on 2/7/2013
Great idea for a movie, but several flaws hamper the message. The husband/dad is made to look a dofus and the kids smart off to him.
Even his wife doesn't recpect him. Then there was this crazy subplot of the dad's brother breaking into their home several nights in a row to help his brother be prepared for an intruder.
The family comes around in the end to appreciate each other, but it was painful to get there. No gospel or overtly christian themes shown. Only the youngest daughter pops out with a one line quote from the Bible every now and then.

- Pretty cute by Mom of Many on 12/17/2012
Great film, wonderful concept. Good for the whole family. A little slow in some scenes which may not keep the little ones' attention, but the entertaining moments bring them back. Very timely in a world of communicating via technology and living with conveniences.
